What is ControllerCodes.com?
ControllerCodes.com was established by Control Systems
Industry Professionals for use by other Professionals or Individuals working on
their own Control System Project. The goal is to create a location for quality
IR codes of various formats, and control system modules (primarily Crestron Modules and AMX Modules) for members to buy or sell. Members can
load their own codes or control system modules and monitor their codes and sales
from a custom dashboard. No more tedious hunting for codes only to find they don't
work properly.
How does it
work?
Simply register for an account and you are on your way
to buying or selling codes and modules. After registering you will be directed
to your custom dashboard. Search for codes by manufacturer, category, model
number, seller, or keywords. Purchase your code and a download link will be available to you immediately. If you are selling, simply choose to
add a product in your dashboard, complete the form, agree to the terms, add your
download item and submit. You can always view your selling or buying history in your
dashboard.
What if I just want to buy
codes?
You can buy the codes straight from the site without registering or you can register, and simply
ignore the selling features in your dashboard. If you register you will be able to keep a history of items you have purchased and other helpful.
How does ControllerCodes.com ensure good
codes?
There is a built in motivation for sellers to provide quality codes and modules in order to maximize sales. If a code or module does not work within the scope of the description, the buyer can request the issue be fixed by the seller, or at our discretion we can provide a refund for the item. We have established a rating system that allows members
to rate purchased items. Buyers can give the item a rating of 1-5 along with a
written review. ControllerCodes.com will monitor these rating and will remove
codes that have been given low ratings without the sellers response. The buyer can also review the ratings
before their purchase.
What if I am unhappy with a code I
have purchased?
If you are unsatisfied simply contact ControllerCodes.com within 10 days of your purchase to
request a modification or a refund will be made available for non-working items that have a non-responsive seller.
How do sellers get
paid?
Members who decide to sell items can select the price of their
code with a minimum price of $5. ControllerCodes.com will then split the sale
50/50 with the seller. Sellers will be paid twice a month on the 1st and 15th via Paypal for all items sold at least 10 days prior to allow for customer evaluation/refund time limits. They must have
a minimum of $25 in sales for a payment to be issued. Upon request we can issue
a payment off cycle for a service charge of $5. Paypal may apply a fee to payments received through Paypal.
Why do you only use Paypal?
At this time we feel that Paypal is the best payment processor that meets the needs to quickly and safely purchase products and pay sellers. It is safe and easy to sign up for a Paypal account and ControllerCodes.com covers the processing fees for each sale.

What else can ControllerCodes.com do for me?
This website can be a great place to discuss issues with control systems and Audio/Video components, design, installation and other topics. Also, the larger the community becomes, we can channel our voice for positively changing the industry. Working with companies to get rid of Toggle Only devices, adopt more universal standards for the A/V and Control industry, and moving toward more standardized control protocols - there are a lot of things we can do when we have larger participation through emailing and petitioning. Email us at support@controllercodes.com if you have any additional ideas or would like to help in this effort. We strive to be responsive and communicate with our members.
